Adaptive Floor Hockey

Adaptive Floor Hockey is an exciting and inclusive program that brings the thrill of hockey to individuals with disabilities. By modifying rules, equipment, and playing styles, this class makes the game accessible to participants with a wide range of abilities and mobility levels. Whether you are new to hockey or have prior experience, you’ll enjoy a fun and supportive environment while developing skills such as stick handling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.

The class incorporates adaptive equipment—including lighter sticks, foam pucks, and adjustable goals—to ensure everyone can take part safely and confidently. Instructors provide personalized modifications to movements and strategies to meet each participant’s needs, whether playing from a seated position, using mobility aids, or with full mobility.
